Speaking to The Wrap to promote his upcoming role in Landsman, actor Andy Garcia confirmed his return for another exciting project.
Garcia told the site that he will be reprising his role as Terry Benedict in the upcoming Ocean's 14 film.
Ocean's 14 is set to reunite key original cast members George Clooney (Danny Ocean), Brad Pitt (Rusty Ryan), Matt Damon (Linus Caldwell), Don Cheadle (Basher Tarr), and Julia Roberts (Tess). And it now seems you can add Garcia to the list.
Garcia told The Wrap, "filming was initially being earmarked for January 2026 but that the production had to be bumped slightly due to scheduling conflicts."
Back in October, Clooney stated, "It's just setting a start date for us. (We'll) probably start (shooting) in about nine or 10 months...Yeah, Brad, Matt (Damon) and Don (Cheadle) and Julia (Roberts. I had dinner last night with Julia. They're all still really dear friends, and so the chance to work together would be fun."
The film will be directed by David Leitch, marking the first time someone other than Steven Soderbergh will helm a mainline entry in the franchise which includes Ocean's Twelve in 2004 and Ocean's Thirteen in 2007 and the Sandra Bullock-led Ocean's 8, which was released in 2018.
However Soderbergh did reveal that the project had his blessing, previously stating, "I made it clear to everybody that, you know, Go with God. I did what I could, and then produced ‘Ocean’s 8,’ and just felt like I’ve done my time."
Of course, the entire franchise is based on the 1960 film Ocean's 11, from director Lewis Milestone, which starred the Rat Pack- Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford, and Joey Bishop.
Ocean's 14 is currently without an exact release date. There is also a separate spin-off film in development with Margot Robbie and Bradley Cooper attached.
