With production set to begin later this year, Universal has made an exciting new cast addition to the tenth (and final?) instalment in the incredibly lucrative Fast and Furious franchise.
According to Deadline, The Suicide Squad breakout star Daniela Melchior (Ratcatcher II) has signed on for the highly-anticipated action flick in an undisclosed role. Details on her character are being kept under wraps, but with fellow DCEU star actor Jason Momoa recently boarding the movie as the villain, there's a good chance Melchior will be on the same side as the carnage-courting heroes.
Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Michelle Rodriguez and Sung Kang are all expected to reprise their respective roles. Justin Lin will return to the director's chair, and will also produce alongside Diesel.
The previous FF movie, F9, took in more than $720 million at the global box office last summer, making it one of the biggest theatrical releases of the year. Fast and Furious 10 is set for release on May 19, 2023.
