Apple TV+ has officially unveiled the trailer for Guy Ritchie’s Fountain of Youth, a high-stakes heist adventure film that promises to reveal one of history’s most elusive secrets. The story centers on two estranged siblings—portrayed by John Krasinski and Natalie Portman—who join forces to track down the legendary Fountain of Youth. Relying on their deep knowledge of history, they race across the globe, following cryptic leads on an epic quest that could transform their lives forever—and perhaps grant them immortality.
Krasinski (The Office; A Quiet Place; Jack Ryan) and Portman (Black Swan; Jackie; Thor: Love and Thunder) lead an impressive ensemble featuring Eiza González (Baby Driver; Ambulance; Godzilla vs. Kong), Domhnall Gleeson (Ex Machina; About Time; The Revenant), Arian Moayed (Succession; Inventing Anna; Spider-Man: No Way Home), Laz Alonso (The Boys; Avatar; Fast & Furious), Carmen Ejogo (Selma; True Detective; Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them), and Stanley Tucci (The Hunger Games; Spotlight; The Lovely Bones).
Guy Ritchie directs the film, working from a screenplay by James Vanderbilt (The Amazing Spider-Man; Ready or Not; Scream VI). The production is a collaboration between Apple Studios and David Ellison’s Skydance, whose team is also responsible for projects like the Mission: Impossible series and Top Gun: Maverick.
Krasinski, known for juggling multiple roles behind the camera as well as in front of it, is currently filming a Jack Ryan feature for Amazon MGM Studios, following his successful four-season run on the Prime Video series of the same name. He directed and starred in the family-oriented fantasy comedy IF last year, and previously appeared as a Reed Richards variant in Marvel’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Meanwhile, Portman has stayed busy with a variety of film and television projects. She recently headlined Apple TV+’s Lady in the Lake and appeared in Todd Haynes’ May December. She also reprised her role as Jane Foster—this time suiting up as The Mighty Thor—in Taika Waititi’s Thor: Love and Thunder. The Oscar-winning actress has developed a reputation for balancing large-scale blockbusters with more intimate dramas.
For Eiza González, Fountain of Youth marks another collaboration with Ritchie, having teamed up with the director previously on The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. She’s also set to return for Ritchie’s next project, In the Grey, starring Henry Cavill and Rosamund Pike. Beyond that, González’s sci-fi horror film, Ash, earned a warm reception at SXSW, further solidifying her growing prominence in Hollywood.
With an intriguing premise that blends adventure, mystery, and hints of the supernatural, Fountain of Youth stands poised to deliver Ritchie’s signature blend of stylish action and sharp humor. It remains to be seen how far this globe-trotting duo will go in pursuit of eternal life—and what surprises await them along the way. Audiences can look forward to finding out when the film arrives on Apple TV+.
