This September, Academy Award winners George Clooney (Ocean's Eleven; Up in the Air; Gravity) and Brad Pitt (Fight Club; Bullet Train; Babylon) reunite after sixteen years in director Jon Watts' new action-comedy, Wolfs.
Sony Pictures Releasing and Apple Studios have released the official trailer, showcasing one of the most anticipated films of the season. In Wolfs, Clooney and Pitt play fixers who unexpectedly team up on a job that spirals out of control.
Clooney stars as a professional fixer tasked with covering up a high-profile crime. When Pitt's character, another fixer, arrives, the two "lone wolves" must work together as their night takes unpredictable turns.
The official synopsis teases, "Global superstars George Clooney and Brad Pitt team up for the action comedy Wolfs. Clooney plays a professional fixer hired to cover up a high profile crime. But when a second fixer (Pitt) shows up and the two “lone wolves” are forced to work together, they find their night spiraling out of control in ways that neither one of them expected."
Previously, Clooney and Pitt co-starred in Ocean's Eleven, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Ocean's Twelve, Ocean's Thirteen, and Burn After Reading. Earlier this year, they had minor voice roles in John Krasinski's If, alongside Ryan Reynolds, but did not share any screen time.
Joining Clooney and Pitt in the cast are Amy Ryan (The Office; Central Intelligence; Only Murders in the Building), Austin Abrams (The Walking Dead; Euphoria; This Is Us), and Poorna Jagannathan (Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani; The Night Of; Never Have I Ever).
Jon Watts, known for directing Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and Spider-Man: No Way Home, wrote, directed, and produced Wolfs. His other credits include Clown and Cop Car. Although rumored to return for Marvel Studios/Sony Pictures' Spider-Man 4, which is in early pre-production, Watts' involvement remains uncertain.
George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Grant Heslov, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, and Dianne McGunigle also serve as producers for Wolfs.
Wolfs will be released exclusively in theaters on September 20 and will stream on Apple TV+ at a later date.
