If Knives Out was about the murderous ties of flesh and blood, Glass Onion makes a good case for being just as wary of one's closest friends. When a tech billionaire Miles Bron (Edward Norton) invites some of his nearest and dearest for a getaway on his private Greek island, it soon becomes clear that all is not perfect in paradise.
And when someone turns up dead, well, who better than Blanc to peel back the layers of intrigue?
We are, of course, talking about Daniel Craig's Detective Benoit Blanc. He takes centre stage on one of two new Empire Magazine covers hyping up the movie's release on Netflix this Holiday Season. There's an awful lot of excitement for this sequel, and the expectation is that it will become a long-running new franchise on the streaming service.
The magazine is promising a massive interview with director Rian Johnson, so we anticipate learning more about the movie once this issue starts arriving on stands. However, we're sure the filmmaker will be looking to keep the story's biggest secrets under wraps for now!
Also joining Craig this time around will be Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Jessica Henwick and Madelyn Cline, with Kate Hudson, and Dave Bautista.
