Following the recent Indiana Jones 5 cover reveal and series of stills spotlighting Indy (Harrison Ford) and the rest of the main cast members, Empire has debuted a first official look at the character played by Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

Details on Waller-Bridge's mysterious female lead had been kept tightly under wraps, but it's now come to light that she'll actually be playing the intrepid archaeologist/adventure's goddaughter, Helena.

“She’s a mystery and a wonder,” says the Fleabag star of her character. "[Producer Kathleen Kennedy] was in London and asked to have dinner with me, and casually mentioned this. I immediately ordered ten bottles of wine. Then it was the fastest I’ve ever read a script; I came out of a sort of haze afterwards. I just couldn’t believe how much fun I had and how moved I was by it. And then I had a Zoom and screamed, ‘YES!’ at them all.”

Though we're still not sure how Helena will factor into the story, director James Mangold's describes her as "slippery, charming, the girl next door, a grifter,” which suggests she's picked up her godfather's penchant for getting into trouble.
