Disney and Lucasfilm have finally released a teaser trailer (along with a cool new poster) for Indiana Jones 5, confirming the movie will be titled Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny!

Starring Harrison Ford as the legendary hero archaeologist, and directed by James Mangold (Logan), the movie looks like an absolute delight, and is exactly what fans of this franchise have been waiting for after the disappointing Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Those de-ageing effects look terrific, and it's clear now that a decent chunk of this movie will be devoted to showing Indy in his prime. However, if what we see here is any indication, it will be just as much fun catching up with him in the present day (well, the 1960s), and it appears we can look forward to one big epic story told over two different time periods.

There's only one moment where the special effects seem to falter and that's when the older adventurer is shown on horseback as Ford's head seems to weirdly float on top of his body. There's plenty of time to sort that out between now and when this next Indiana Jones movie is released, however.

Starring along with Ford are Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Antonio Banderas, John Rhys-Davies, Shaunette Renee Wilson, Thomas Kretschmann, Toby Jones, Boyd Holbrook, Oliver Richters, Ethann Isidore, and Mads Mikkelsen.

The movie is produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall and Simon Emanuel, with Steven Spielberg and George Lucas serving as executive producers. John Williams, who has scored each Indy adventure since the original Raiders of the Lost Ark in 1981, is once again composing the score, news we're sure will make you all very happy.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is set to be released in theaters on June 30, 2023.

Young Indy's face looks off in that still. Hopefully it's less distracting in motion, hard to tell from the trailer seeing as it's compressed to hell.
