Netflix has released the official trailer for Interceptor, an upcoming actioner starring Elsa Pataky (Fast Five) and Luke Bracey (Little Fires Everywhere), which has Chris Hemsworth onboard as an EP.

This summer, get ready for the Interceptor

Elsa Pataky (Fast Five; Fast & Furious 6) stars in this upcoming Netflix actioner, where she plays Captain JJ Collins, who finds herself in charge of a lone nuclear missile interceptor base in the middle of the ocean.

However, what should prove to be an uneventful post, takes a turn when she crosses paths with a former military intelligence officer named Alexander Kessel, played by Luke Bracey (Little Fires EverywherePoint Break). She's soon forced to use everything she's ever learned to stop him before he unleashes an entire nuclear arsenal on the world!

Thor: Love and Thunder star and Pataky's real-life husband Chris Hemsworth is serving as an executive producer on the project. He also has a Netflix film out this summer, Joe Kosinski's Spiderhead, and he recently wrapped another Netflix vehicle, Sam Hargrave's Extraction 2

The tough and reality-bruised Captain JJ Collins (Elsa Pataky) finds herself in charge of a lone nuclear missile interceptor base in the middle of the Pacific Ocean after she is wrongfully drummed out of her dream job at the Pentagon. When a simultaneous coordinated attack then threatens the base itself, Collins comes face-to-face with the charismatic yet crooked Alexander Kessel (Luke Bracey), a former US military intelligence officer intent on carrying out an unthinkable plan. With only minutes on the clock, Collins must utilize her years of tactical training and military expertise to determine who she can trust and stop Kessel and his covert mercenaries from completing their twisted and terrible mission.
