Keanu Reeves & Ian McShane Confirmed To Return For JOHN WICK Spin-Off BALLERINA

Following a quick tease in John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum, Lionsgate is all-set to expand their blockbuster John Wick cinematic universe with Ballerina, which will star Golden Globe-nominee Ana de Armas (Knives OutNo Time to Die) in the lead role - and it sounds like she won't be alone.

Collider is reporting that franchise star Keanu Reeves is set to reprise his role as the iconic assassin John Wick (a report confirmed by Variety), while The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Ian McShane is also set to reprise his role as Winston, the manager of the Continental.

While the studio opted not to comment on Reeves' involvement, the fan-favorite actor was already spotted on set in Prague, so he's definitely partaking in the first leg of the shoot. It's unclear, however, whether he'll have a full-fledged role or just a cameo, but we'd wager on the latter.

McShane has been announced by the studio, so expect him to be heavily involved in the new film as we meet a deadly new assassin that could potentially rival Wick.

Len Wiseman (Underworld; Lucifer) is directing, from a screenplay by Shay Hatten (John Wick: Chapter 3 - ParabellumArmy of the Dead).

John Wick: Chapter 4 hits theaters on March 23, 2023; Ballerina is expected to arrive TBD 2023/2024.
