In Jonathan Majors' first profile interview since the 2023 allegations and trial regarding the harassment and assault of his ex-girlfriend, British dancer Grace Jabbari, it seems as if some of Hollywood's elite are ready to put Majors' past behind them.

Now fired from Marvel Studios and his upcoming would-be awards contender Magazine Dreams dumped to March, Majors is looking at how to rebuild his career.

Speaking to THR, Majors can count on the support of Matthew McConaughey, who previously worked with Majors on White Boy Rick. "I’ve known and know him as someone who is continuously striving to improve as a human, a man and an actor. I believe in him,” McConaughey stated.

Majors' Creed III co-star Michael B. Jordan is also showing his support for Majors' career resurgence, adding, "I would love to make Creed IV together — among other projects."

This echoes previous statements made by Jordan back in February. "It’s a tough situation […] But he’s doing great, just got engaged. I’m proud of his resilience and his strength through it all, and [his] handling [of] it. I’m glad he’s good. That’s my boy."

In the interview with THR, Majors also revealed that he's in talks to sign up for a new superhero movie role, although it's not a DC or Marvel project.

"No relation to the big guys, DC or Marvel, but a pretty wicked storyI’m glad to be reading."

As for Creed 4, Michael B. Jordan is currently confirmed to be returning to the director's chair for the next installment and has previously expressed a desire to see Sylvester Stallone's Rocky Balboa also return.

Getting Stallone to return might be a tough sell as the veteran action star has previously shared that he's done with the spin-off as he didn't care for the creative direction taken for Creed III and that he will not be involved in future Creed films unless significant changes occur.

To date, the three installments in the Creed franchise have amassed $663.8 million worldwide from production budgets totaling $165 million.

About Creed III
After dominating the boxing world, Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan) has been thriving in both his career and family life. When a childhood friend and former boxing prodigy, Damian (Jonathan Majors), resurfaces after serving a long sentence in prison, he is eager to prove that he deserves his shot in the ring. The face off between former friends is more than just a fight. To settle the score, Adonis must put his future on the line to battle Damian -- a fighter who has nothing to lose.
