Acquired for distribution by Paramount Pictures, Sheroes is written and directed by Jordan Gertner, who was previously best known as a producer, having most recently worked on 2018's London Fields.
The film stars Sasha Luss (2017's Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, 2019's Anna, 2022's Shattered); Wallis Day (Nyssa-Ves on the Superman prequel series Krypton and as Circe Sionis/Kate Kane on Batwoman); Isabelle Furhman (2021's The Novice, Escape Room: Tournament of Champions and The Last Thing Mary Saw); and Skai Jackson (The Smurfs and G.I. Joe: Retaliation).
The scenario in the film concerns a quartet of girlfriends who decided to get away from it all by taking a vacation in Thailand. But it's only a short matter of time before everything takes on a more harrowing turn as they inadvertently find themselves targeted by a cartel. However, what the cartel doesn't expect is that each of these ladies have their own set of unique skills, which are going to have to be utilized if they hope to stay alive.
Gertner issued a statement in which he notes, "I am so thrilled to be partnered with this incredible group of actors. It has been such a joy to watch these strong, talented women kick ass and save the day as they bring Sheroes to life. Working with Paramount, whose many iconic films have served as an inspiration to me throughout my life, is a dream come true."
